Farmington homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Farmington, PA job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Roofing crew we send to Farmington.
Ask to see our Farmington, PA license and insurance certificate and you'll have it in your hand before the estimate even starts.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Proof of licensing before the first ladder goes up.
Storms don't wait for office hours, so our on-call line doesn't either.
You approve a number before the crew touches your roof.
Faster arrivals because we're already close by.
A roof rarely just fails one day — it usually spends months quietly showing signs that get written off as cosmetic.
Homeowners in Farmington often mention they'd noticed something off months before calling — a stain that seemed to fade, a shingle that looked slightly out of place after a storm.
If the water coming off your downspouts looks gritty, the shingle surface is thinner than it should be.
A cupped shingle traps moisture instead of shedding it, which speeds up decking rot underneath.
A gap that lets light through will let rain through eventually.
Sagging or soft drywall usually points to sustained moisture, not a single isolated drip.
An unexplained bill increase is worth checking against your roof's condition.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Farmington job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Below is the full breakdown of what we cover in Farmington, so you can see roughly where your situation fits before you even call.
Active leaks get priority dispatch — a temporary cover first, a proper repair as soon as the crew can get materials on-site.
Our residential scope covers shingle repair, full reroofs, ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing fixes.
Commercial roofs run different membrane systems entirely, and our crews are trained specifically on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
We'll tell you honestly whether your roof needs a full replacement or just a targeted repair — we don't default to the bigger invoice.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general repair crews often miss.
We keep this process the same whether it's a single shingle repair or a full Farmington tear-off, because a predictable process is part of what makes a stressful roof problem manageable.
After-hours calls still reach a live line for anything time-sensitive.
You get a plain-language explanation, not just a number.
Financing and insurance-claim questions are addressed at this stage.
Once approved, the crew completes the work to manufacturer spec and cleans the site before leaving.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
Being local means we're rarely the crew still driving in from somewhere else.
We'd rather lose a bid on an honest price than win one that grows later.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
If the finished work doesn't match what was agreed, we come back and fix it at no charge.
We're not your insurance company, but we make that part of the process easier.
Our technicians explain their reasoning so you're deciding with full information.
A verbal promise means nothing when you actually need it, so ours is documented and handed over at project close.
No surprise line items appear after the fact; anything that changes the scope gets discussed with you directly.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
Roof Repair Smedway dispatches Roofing crews throughout Farmington and the surrounding communities across Farmington, PA, with coverage available further out on request.
Routes are planned around Farmington's actual streets and access points, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival windows tend to hold up.
We'd rather confirm coverage on a quick call than have a homeowner assume they're out of range and skip calling entirely.
